UIA (Urban Innovative Actions) is a European programme that supports cities in implementing innovative pilot projects aimed at addressing complex urban challenges. Through UIA, high-risk and highly innovative actions are funded in fields such as sustainable urban development, circular economy, energy transition, social inclusion, and climate adaptation, enabling local authorities to test new solutions with potential for replication and wider application across Europe.
